Hi, I’m Meg!
I’ve grown up in a family where food is our core. My dad is a retired chef who has had a wonderful career cooking for Presidents, celebrities, our local community, and (most importantly, in my book) our family. I learned to cook at a young age when I was helping him in the kitchen and later cooking my own creations. Living with PCOS is also something that has been an impact on my love for food.
Meg’s Full Plate began when my co-workers would compliment the lunches I brought each day. Since then, I’ve worked hard to achieve the ServSafe manager certification, ensuring I am knowledgeable about food safety. I’ve also earned a certification in Gastronomy and Nutrition from Le Cordon Bleu, giving me in-depth understanding about the relationship of food culture, and the nutrients found in our meals.
My love of cooking and education has propelled me to create a digital course, as well as take on 1:1 clients to help menu plan, develop recipes, and gain confidence in the kitchen.
I hope while you’re visiting Meg’s Full Plate you feel inspire to cook something delicious and gain confidence in your abilities in the kitchen!
